Insurance coverage for the pet care professional

 

ACPSN is pleased to announce a new Pet Care Professionals Insurance plan through Horizon Insurance available exclusively to members of the All Canadian Pet Services Network.

Coverage includes:

  • $1 Million General Liability
  • $5,000 per animal coverage for care, custody & control
  • Coverage for Pet Taxi
  • Coverage for Medication Administration
  • Small animal Livestock Care (hobby animals only, large show and agriculture animals not included)
  • Housesitting coverage including snow removal and lawn care
  • $5,000 dishonesty bond for hired and incidental employees (indepedent contractors are covered!)
  • Lost Customer Key Coverage ($250 deductible)
  • $10,000 coverage for animals in transit
  • Low $500 deductible on all claims

$575.00* per year

Pet Massage and Pet Therapy coverage not available. Policies are available to members who offer these services, but coverage excludes these activities.

A Pet Training policy is now available separately for $750.00 per year.

PST additional if applicable.

Payment options:

Payments by credit card incur a 2% fee in addition to the premium.

Policy start date is July 10 - partial year policies will be pro-rated.

Coverage is not currently available to members in Quebec.
